The Talent Factory offers a lot of activities that can bring you closer to the wind power industry. Here you have the opportunity to book guest lectures arrange company visits. You can also participate in the activities listed below. Have a look at the previous activities of The Talent Factory.

 

Free tour to Lillgrund Offshore park on June 15th

 

 

To celebrate the Global Wind Day the Talent Factory invites engineering students and educators on a free visit to Lillgrund offshore turbine park on the 15th of June 2010.

The tour will take you close to the 48 turbines which were installed in the fall of 2007 and officially opened I june 2008. Each turbine have a capacity of 2,3 MW with a rotor diameter of 93 m and a total height of 115 m. Read more about Lillgrund offshore park.

The tour was a unique opportunity to meet the companies in the wind power industry and learn more the opportunities and challenges in modern wind power.

 

Application
There is a limited number of seats available, so the participants have to apply for participation by filling in the application form here.

13.00: Departuere with M/S Bjørnsholm from Nyhavn 71, Copenhagen

13.10: Welcome and presentation of the programme for the trip

13.20: Presentation of Talent Factroy

13.30: Presentation of company representatives

14.00: Snacks

14.30: Arrival at Lillgrund offshore park

15.30: Departure from Lillgrund

17.00: Arrival in Nyhavn

 

As part of the program there will be a wind power quiz and a photo contest.

 

Practical details.

- Be at Nyhavn 15 minutes before departure, the boat leaves precisely at 13.00

- The tour is free of charge.

- Please consider the weather before leaving and wear practical clothes

- Don't forget your camera
