how about using carbon fibres (though costly, but superior properties than Glass fibres) for blades...as they reduce the weight of blades which are weighing in tons.....

why the Blades of a Wind Electric Generator are made with such a huge weight?

what is the minimum necessary weight for a sigle blade of a 1 MW three bladed upwind Wind Electric Generator?....

    kindly reply.
