1)Wind Turbine loads calculations: Calculation of fatigue and extreme loads on different turbine configurations as per the design load cases as specified in the IEC 61400 Ed 3 and the GL guidelines. The calculation of loads is necessary for various purposes like design, validation and third party certification (GL) of wind turbines.
2)Micrositing: Wind Resource Assessment of wind farm using the commercial software like WindPro and WaSP Engineering. This function is critical for the wind farm layout design, estimating the energy output of the wind farm and to calculate different parameters like turbulence and wind speed distributions at the site, which are needed as input to Flex5 software to calculate the loads on turbines at the site.
3)Site suitability analysis and product fit solutions for wind farms: Mechanical Loads Analysis of prospective wind farms. It includes fatigue and extreme loads analysis based on variable site conditions like wind speed distribution, terrain angles, vertical wind shear, and turbulence intensity distribution etc, of the wind farm site under consideration.
4) Load models to conver site conditions into turbine loads
5) Power curve and thrust coefficient calculations of wind turbines.
6) Validation of load models as per IEC guidelines.
